Nismo R32 chassis reinforcement in the trunk

Description

Fitted a Nismo boot chassis brace which is said to add a good deal of stiffness in the rear. The R34 came standard with one fitted, engineers discovered there was added benefit at some point during development before the R34 release and tested them on the R33 though the R33 never officially received the upgrade.

Shockingly it is pretty hard to find any information about this chassis improvement for the R32, so decided to create this post if anyone is searching in the future. There is a lengthy article about the R33 getting the upgrade by a chap based in Japan though.

Anyway, it was a pretty straight forward job, about 20 minutes all in with some fiddling to get the bolts/spacers and threads lined up properly

will put some miles on the car this week and see if there is any noticeable difference. Some photos below:
